How to make the best honey cake recipe

In recent years, honey cakes have become a popular dessert and a staple of holiday parties and holiday celebrations in many countries.

They are also a popular ingredient in the baking world.

Al Jazeera’s Mark Scott travelled to Portugal to learn how to make a honey cake with all the ingredients you need to make it.

Ingredients Ingredients: 1 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons butter 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 tablespoons cold water 4 tablespoons honeycomb (optional) 2 tablespoons melted butter Instructions: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Place the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk the butter, milk and vanilla extract together until smooth.

Add the flour mixture and stir to combine.

Add all the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until the dough comes together.

Shape the dough into a ball.

Roll out the dough to about 1cm (0.4 inch) thick and cut it into 12 even segments.

Place each segment on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges of the cake are golden brown and the centre is firm.

Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing.

Remove from the pan and cool completely.

Keep the cooled honey cake in a freezer bag until ready to use.

To serve: In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter and honeycomb in a small bowl until well combined.

Combine the milk and the honey with a wooden spoon until smooth and creamy.

Spoon into a serving dish or cupcake tin.

Top with a sprinkle of sugar if desired.


Notes The honey cake can be prepared any day of the week.

You can also use the dough for a filling.

You may need to adjust the sugar content depending on the honeycomb you use.
