This is my favorite SpongeBob cake recipe

Ingredients 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 cups powdered sugar 3 cups milk 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/3 cup blueberries (or other blueberry) Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and flour 2 baking sheets or 9×13″ cake pans.

In a medium bowl, whisk together butter and sugar until well blended.

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat eggs one at a time, adding one at the time.

Beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla.

Add milk and beat until combined.

Add flour and mix until well combined.

Scrape down sides of the bowl as needed.

Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cool.

To make the spongecake, place the cake pans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Sprinkle the blueberries over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes oruntil a toothbrush inserted in center comes off clean.

Allow cake to cool in the pans for 20 minutes.

For the strawberry cake, in a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the strawberry filling: strawberries, blueberries, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Add to a large bowl and whisk until smooth.

Add remaining strawberry filling and mix.

Pour the filling into the spongecakes.

Sprinkles will be very small.

For blueberry cake mix, place all of ingredients for blueberry filling in a bowl and beat for 5 minutes.

Add in blueberries and beat again for another 5 minutes until combined and thickened.

Pour into the cake batter and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Let cake cool completely.

To assemble, place a toothpicks inserted into the center of each cake cake, top with a strawberry cake and enjoy!
