The perfect Strawberry Cake Recipe!
It’s not too sweet, it’s not overly sweet, and it tastes amazing!
Ingredients 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup butter, melted 3 eggs, at room temperature 3 cups strawberry puree 3 cups powdered sugar 1 cup milk 2 cups confectioners’ sugar Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another large bowl whisk together eggs, vanilla, and milk.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine butter, egg, and sugar until fully combined.
Beat in strawberry purees until well combined.
Set mixer on medium-high speed until fully blended.
Slowly add powdered sugar and mix on medium speed until incorporated.
Slowly increase mixer speed to medium-low until fully incorporated.
Add milk and mix at medium speed, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides of bowl to mix in strawberry-sugar mixture.
Pour batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 25 minutes, or until cake springs back when pressed lightly with a spatula.
Cool cake in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
