In this article we will show you how to make a lovely tea cake with a little creativity. 

Tea cakes have been a staple in many different cultures and are enjoyed worldwide.

You may have heard of the traditional cakes made with white, brown or black tea leaves, and many people also have the idea of using dried fruits, nuts or even dried flowers. 

These are just some of the common ingredients that can be used to make tea cakes. 

What you need:1 cup of tea, such as tea leaves1 cup brown sugar or molasses1 cup plain yogurt1 cup milk1 cup sugar (sugar free is ok)1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, or cocoa powder of your choice1 cup butter (or other non-dairy milk of your choosing)1 tsp vanilla extract1/2 cup honey1 cup egg white1 tsp almond extractIf you want to use fresh flowers, almonds or nuts, simply chop up the flowers or nuts and add them to the tea.

For example, you could use almond or walnut flower tea, but be careful to keep the water out of the tea as this can cause the flowers to be damaged. 

Once you have the ingredients, you can add it to a teacup or mug and make a tea cup. 

How to make: Put a cup of water in a saucepan. 

Heat the tea until it becomes frothy. 

Stir in the honey and vanilla and let it boil for a few minutes, then strain the liquid into a mug and stir in the milk. 

If you are making this tea cake, you will need to use 1 cup of the liquid for each cup of cake. 

Place the tea into the teacups and stir well. 

Put the tea back into the saucepan and stir the mixture well again. 

Add the milk to the mixture and stir until it forms a soft foam. 

Taste the mixture for a couple of minutes and if it’s too sweet, add a little more milk and make the tea again.

 You should be able to taste the tea cake as it’s cooked and should taste like it’s made with sugar and/or honey. 

 Now it’s time to put it in the fridge.

You can make this tea tea cake in your favourite mug or dishwasher, or make it in a microwave at a time. 

As a side note, you may have noticed that the tea cakes can be made in advance, but it’s not a bad idea to make this cake when you are ready.

If you make the cakes at the end of the week and it doesn’t sit too long, you should be fine. 

You can make these tea cakes as a snack, or serve them over ice cream or cake.

You could also serve them as a dessert, or mix it with some fruit. 

Make a tea tea with: A small piece of fresh fruit A sprinkling of cinnamon, vanilla or almond extract 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter 1 tsp fresh ginger (optional) Place your tea cakes into the fridge to chill.
