Pound cake recipe for 2-3 adults

By Julie Lecomber The recipe for a pound cake that you can serve up to two people can be made at home.

It’s a delicious and versatile dessert with a simple crust and plenty of filling.

For a few extra calories, you can add in some fruit or toppings.

You’ll need: 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking chocolate 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup fresh pecants, chopped 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed and frozen (about 1 1/3 cups) 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, baking chocolate and cinnamon.

Stir in the pecannon, pecant and strawberries.

Using a pastry brush, brush the flour mixture into the cake batter.

Add the pecan pieces and the berries to the bottom of the bowl and stir well.

Using your hands, press down the sides of the cake to make it easier to flatten the cake.

Using the back of a spoon, gently brush the top and sides of your cake batter onto the counter top.

Bake the cake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

If you bake it too early, it won’t bake all the way through.

While the cake is baking, make the filling: Whisk together the remaining ingredients: 1 1.5 cups of cream cheese, softened 1/7 cup of sugar 1/16 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup butter, softened 3 eggs 1 teaspoon milk 1 cup water Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake, and mix until completely combined.

Cover the cake with a damp cloth, and let it cool for at least an hour before cutting.

If your cake doesn’t bake completely, it may need to be refrigerated overnight.

Notes You can also serve it up in a bowl, and top with some berries.
